Giclee and Offset Art Prints.

Giclee is a process where pigment, or ink is sprayed onto the canvas or paper.

It has been said that comparing an offset print with a Giclee is like comparing analog TV to an HD TV. Giclee has higher definition, quality and richer colors then offset printing.

The Giclee process uses eight or more colors to produce an image whereas the offset uses only four colors to produce its images.

A Giclee can be on either paper or canvas. When printed on canvas it would take very close inspection to distinguish a Giclee from the original painting.

All prices of Giclee on this site are for prints on canvas, the prints are stretched on stretcher bars and are ready for framing.

FRAMING

We generally do not supply frames with a Giclee or Original Paintings.
Although At the customers request we can furnish frames as an extra cost option.

Framing adds greatly to the cost of shipping and we have found that framing is such a personal choice it would be difficult for us to anticipate the needs of the purchaser
